Strategic Management means understanding what forces are impacting your business and how, developing a clear and compelling focus, and effectively managing execution. We have three strategic management offerings targeted to the needs of your business:


STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT PROCESS

Who is it for?
Organizations that involve management teams in the development and implementation of strategy.

Our approach
The Strategic Management Process (SMP) is based on two premises. First, that strategy is a process not an event. Second, that strategy must be managed not merely planned. The SMP consists of four phases that are linked to an organization’s fiscal year:

  Assessment
  • Multiple methods are used to explore and spotlight vulnerabilities and opportunities arising from internal, market and macro-environmental factors
  • Results in a compelling “case for action”
  Positioning
  • Employs “out-of-the-circle” and “intersecting success” thinking
  • Results in a concise “focus” statement, and outline of winning”
  Planning
  • Emphasizes the identification and criterion-based evaluation of strategic options
  • Results in objectives, strategies, a strategic scorecard, and the cultural commitments required to succeed
  Implementation
  • Utilizes a variety of “commitment building”, “organizational
    alignment” and “execution management” methods
  • Results in well-executed plans – actions that equal intentions

The Result
Well-conceived plans that are well executed. Actions that are the equal of intentions. Objectives that are met. Visions that are realized.


STRATEGY BOOT CAMP

Who is it for?
Organizations in which the CEO is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of strategy.

Our approach
The Strategy Boot Camp (SBC) is an intensive one-to-one experience involving the CEO and an executive consultant that results in a concise and laser-focused strategy and implementation plan. Follow-up is regularly and skillfully managed. The SBC involves a four-step process: Success Planning, Game Day, Action Planning, and Results Management.

The Result
A CEO who is focused and in-control. An actionable plan that gets implemented and drives the business towards its desired and measurable results.


STRATEGY WORKSHOP

Who is it for?
Emerging, success-driven organizations which are at the stage where developing a strategy and implementation plan is critical for continued growth and success.

Our approach
The Strategy Workshop is centered around a two-day session in which 3-6 companies participate. In a stimulating and confidential environment, each company is lead through a series of modules resulting in a detailed strategy and implementation plan. The Strategy Workshop involves three steps:
Pre-Workshop Planning (specific to each company), Workshop, and Post-Workshop Advising (specific to each company).

The Result
A compelling, concise and clear strategy and implementation plan. Expert guidance throughout the implementation.
